The Galiano Concert Society presents Fringe Percussion, with guest Paolo Bortolussi. This Vancouver-based percussion ensemble consists of four classically trained musicians playing only percussion instruments. They will perform from their repertoire of contemporary music spanning western and non-western traditions. Their concert also features selections from the classical masterworks. For this concert, they will be joined by flutist and new-music specialist Paolo Bortolussi.
