Raccoons, etc.

Raccoons flourish in the undisturbed forests of Galiano. These little “Bandits” thrive on available seafood and scavenging for edibles in the more populated parts of the Island. Being mostly nocturnal feeders, you will often see these when driving our roads as night.

Raccoons aren't the only critters you'll encounter. Our forests are also home to a large number of squirrels.  Like city squirrels, though, these little fellas are pretty skittish when it comes to people wandering through their home turf.
